Due to the COVID19 pandemic and the current stay at home order, the 2020 Annual Spring Membership and Board Meeting has been cancelled.

We hope to reschedule but won’t know details until the Governor of Minnesota gives the go ahead for gatherings and public meetings.

When we know more we will send email communication and post to our website and social media.

Dear Residents of Maple Lake:

Maple Lake Improvement District has contracted PLM Lake and Land Management to treat Aquatic Invasive Species in Maple Lake in 2020.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has granted the Maple Lake Improvement District a permit originally based on a required waiver to obtain the signatures of approval from owners of lake shore property.  Instead, the Maple Lake Improvement District will notify property owners of the treatment through alternate form[s]. This letter is one form that the Maple Lake Improvement District is using to notify property owners. Other forms [may] include notification on the association web page, local news publications, and during the annual meetings.

With regard to the treatment for this year, 2020:

  1. The proposed timing for treatment: June-August
  2. The target species for the treatment: Eurasian Water Milfoil
  3. The method of control or product being used: MNDNR Approved Aquatic Herbicide
  4. If landowner does NOT want treatment to occur adjacent to the landowner’s property: fill out the form below and notify the Lake Association immediately at the following:

2018 Maple Lake Boat Parade

2018 4th of July on Maple Lake started out a little soggy. But the afternoon cleared up and the day ended beautiful. Due to the questionable weather we had 5 boats come out for the annual Boat Parade. Line up began at Bob and Mary Smith’s beach.

Welcome to our Maple Lake!

Maple Lake is a beautiful 777 acre lake located in the north central part of Wright County Minnesota. It is 76 feet deep at its deepest point.

Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.

The Lake has two public access points. One is located at the Wright County Park on the northeast end of the lake off County Road 37. There is also a Maple Lake City maintained access on the south end of the lake, off of State Highway 55.
